The Park

The Park extends to some 3.5 acres (1.5ha) of level grass. Surfaced access roads within the Park lead to pitches for touring caravans and motor-homes the majority of which are on the seafront. The camping areas are separate and each camping pitch has fencing on three sides to provide more privacy and to act as a windbreak. Generally, cars may be parked adjacent to tents.

There is a small burn along two sides of the Park and this may be fished on the understanding that any trout caught are replaced in the water immediately - this is to help increase the stocks of trout and sea-trout which use the burn.

We have seven holiday caravans for hire, six of which are situated on the sea-front. These are all fully self-contained each with its own toilet and shower. They are fully equipped and all have full-sized gas cookers, water heaters, refrigerators and gas fires and there are no extra charges for gas or electricity. We do not provide televisions, but will supply an aerial if you wish to bring your own portable set; however, be prepared for a rather erratic level of reception (or even none at all). Our holiday caravans are provided with all bed linen and duvets but we do not provide towels.

We have separate toilets and showers for men and women, use of which is free for our visitors, washing-up sinks with hot water and a chemical toilet disposal point. Electric hook-up points and water taps are to be found throughout the Park and we have a number of refuse collection areas. Although there are spin dryers in each of the shower units, laundry facilities for large loads are available for which a small charge is made. Hair dryers may be borrowed free of charge from us when needed. At present, we do not have special facilities for the disabled.

Your Pets

Pets are welcome but are not allowed in any of our letting holiday caravans (apart from Guide Dogs). Dogs must be exercised away from the Park and are not permitted to run loose on the beach during July or August, nor must they be allowed to foul the beach.
We have a number of pet ducks on the Park which children (and adults) enjoy feeding. We do not appreciate our ducks being chased by dogs!

Our Shop

Our small Park shop stocks a range of non-perishable goods, postcards, camera film, toiletries and, of course, sweets, crisps, canned drinks and bottled water (although our tap water is perfectly drinkable). If you arrive late, we have enough for you to make a meal. If you want your freezer packs refrozen, then we will do this for you. There is a small lending library and we ask borrowers to make a donation to our charity box in aid of "Hope and Homes for Children". Souvenir pens and locally-made jewellery are also on sale. A wide range of Calor Gas and Camping Gaz cylinders are stocked and we can charge batteries if required. There is a First Aid kit in the shop.
