The
Park is located in the village of Laide on the A832 main coast road from Braemore
Junction to Gairloch. Approaching from the north (which is the recommended route
for caravans) the Park is on the A832 about 29 miles from Braemore which is
on the A835 Inverness – Ullapool road.
After leaving Inverness and passing through Contin and Garve, do not take the first left turn on to the A832 (signposted to Achnasheen and Gairloch) but continue for another 20 miles on the A835 to Braemore Junction. Turn left here on to the other end of the A832.
Journey times from Inverness vary but are usually one and a half to two hours.
Alternatively,
approach from the south by turning left after Garve on to the A832. Pass through
Achnasheen, Kinlochewe and Gairloch. This is a longer route with stretches of
steep, winding, single-track road. Laide is about 15 miles north of Gairloch;
the Park is on the left immediately on leaving the village.
